The Precious Lives Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that every child has the essential school supplies they need to thrive in their academic journey. Founded on the principle of compassion, we exist to ease the financial burden on families who struggle to afford these necessities.
Our mission is to restore dignity and confidence and by so doing empowering children to focus on their education, grow with confidence, and reach their full potential.
Our Inception Story
The Foundation was born from a deeply personal place. Our founder grew up hearing the painful yet courageous stories of her mother’s childhood. Stories of days spent walking to school barefoot, wearing a threadbare uniform, and carrying the quiet shame of having less than others.
The stories were reminders of a reality that still exists for countless children today. What her mother endured stirred a conviction that no child should ever feel unworthy, unseen, or held back because of circumstances beyond their control. It is from her mother’s resilience and sacrifice that this foundation found its purpose: to restore dignity, open doors, and ensure that every child has the essentials they need to learn, grow, and dream freely.
Mission
Our mission is to supply school children with essential basic resources such as school shoes, uniforms, sanitary pads and stationery, ensuring that no child is held back from their education due to lack of basic necessities.
Vision
Our vision is a world where every child has the resources they need to succeed in school, regardless of their background. We believe no child’s potential should be limited by a lack of supplies. By creating fair access to essential tools, we help children learn with confidence and build a brighter future.

What We Do
We collaborate closely with schools and communities to identify children who are most in need and ensure they receive the essential support required for their academic journey through community distribution events, donation drives and partnerships. These initiatives allow us to play a part in the restoration of confidence, dignity, and hope in young learners, helping them regain their footing, believe in their abilities, and excel academically by providing them with the below:

Meet The Founder
Precious Lives is currently led by its founder, Precious Bukhali. While the organisation is still growing, it is guided by a clear vision, strong values, and a deep sense of purpose.
Precious is an LLB graduate with a strong commitment to child advocacy, social development, and community empowerment. As a Christian, her faith shapes the heart of the foundation: grounding its work in compassion, integrity, and a belief in the God-given worth of every child.
Her legal background plays a key role in strengthening the foundation’s governance, accountability, and ethical standards, ensuring that every contribution is managed responsibly and used to create meaningful, lasting impact.
Though the team is small for now, the mission is big and Precious Lives is being built on a solid foundation of faith, responsibility, and genuine care for the lives it exists to serve.
